Getting pencilled for a job is great, when it happens...

Getting pencilled is basically the team saying "Hey, make sure you're free on these days. We might need you." which is great, untill you find out you've turned down alternative work for nothing.

It's just how it goes sometimes, and it's fine I suppose. I get it. The industry can be unpredictable. But it doesn't make it any less annoying to be so close to a job and lose it at the last minute.

We're officially moved in to the new house and are coming to terms with the reality of living here. There is so much needing done, though thankfully none of it's structural, just decorating, but it is a little shocking realising just how much there is to do.

Obviously I'm writing this a few months late, but around this time I started my puppetry work for the summer and was having a blast. I continued to have a blast all through summer, though the heatwaves really took their toll on my mental health. I was pretty much constantly anxious about the state of the environment, and since my partner started her sumer work away from home, I was left to deal with it on my own. Not ideal.
