[about]

Actor, 30s, he/him, Scottish

I've been working in the creative arts for about 12 years now, and in that time I've done a bit of everything. I've acted on stage and tv, toured internationally on big theatre projects as well as my own solo work, and even done a couple of audiobooks. I've been a puppeteer, an acting teacher, a writer, and occasionally a simulated patient for trainee doctors.

But I'm still a long way off doing this full time.

I still have a day-job in the service industry to keep the bills paid, and I still struggle to find time for much of a social life.

Every month I post a breakdown of all my auditions, as well as updates from my personal life. I want to provide a little peek behind the curtain into the life of a working actor to show what goes into making a career for yourself in the industry.

Since I want to maintain some level of anonymity I won't necessarily spill the beans on specific projects, but I'll try and be as much of an open book as I can.

Up top you can find a bit about what I'm up to right now, an archive of all my blog posts, as well as my contact details to get in touch.
