Only one audition from my agent this month, the advert. Another tape I was happy with, but sadly no luck. Considering how much our lives have been turned upside-down by what happened this month, I'm really happy I was able to get a good tape out.

One audition for a stage play due to be performed in January. This was an audition I found for myself on social media, and after an initial tape where they wanted to see a dramatic monologue and a recall where they wanted an extract from their script, I was told I got the part.

I'm quite excited for the play. It's a historical drama based on a true story from the Second World War, so there's plenty of material for research, from books about the event, to movie adaptations. I'll write more about the project once it starts, but for now I'm just happy to have something lined up for the start of next year.

As I write this, I realise I haven't talked much about the projects I have been a part of this year. I'm hoping to do an end-of-year round-up analysing the data gathered from these monthly round-ups but I can already tell there will be some inconsistencies. For a start, I've really only been counting auditions my agent secured me, and have neglected auditions I've gotten myself. I've also skipped over short films and voiceover projects I've worked on with friends. I'm lucky enough to have some crazy talented friends that like my work and want to keep me around; those projects deserve recognition too.
